Bronze Casting

Common Alloys

Tin bronze for bearings, aluminum bronze for high-load wear and seawater, manganese bronze for high strength, and cupronickel for marine service — supplied to the alloy grade stated on your drawing or purchase order.

Typical Components

Sleeve bearings, worm gears, valve discs, pump impellers, propeller blades and large mill bushings.

Why Centrifugal & Continuous

These processes eliminate the gas porosity that can compromise bronze under high contact pressure — critical for bearings and marine service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tin bronze is the workhorse for general bearings; aluminum bronze handles higher loads and shock.

Yes. NiAl (nickel-aluminum) bronze grades are widely used for ship propellers, valves and seawater pumps.
