Founded in 1989, Monmet is a consulting, contracting and specialty engineering company supplying cast, forged and specialty metal products to heavy industry. We work closely with a worldwide group of foundries, forge shops and workshops, under Monmet's ISO 9001:2015 quality system.

Mining, cement and lime, pulp and paper, energy, and metallurgical processing. We also supply workshops — machine, fabrication and gear shops — with cast components.

Casting: sand casting in steel, iron, bronze and copper-based alloys, plus investment, centrifugal and continuous casting — small components through to very large single pieces. Forging: open die, closed die and large-diameter seamless rolled rings. Sizes are confirmed against your drawing when we quote.

Cast and forged replacement components made to drawing or sample: gears and pinions, riding rings, rollers and shafts, thrust rollers, bronze bearing liners, bearing housings, heads and trunnions, shell sections, cooler grates and kiln chain.

Yes. We reverse engineer from an existing part, even a worn or broken one: we measure and document the dimensions, create CAD drawings, determine the material composition, and manufacture the replacement.
