Continuous casting produces dense, low-porosity stock ideal for high-pressure bearings, bushings and hydraulic components. Monmet supplies continuous-cast bars, tubes and profiles in standard or custom lengths.
Process Advantages
Continuous casting solidifies metal in a water-cooled die as it's drawn out, producing fine equiaxed grains and tight dimensional control. The resulting bar stock is more machinable than sand-cast equivalents and has superior pressure-tightness.

Tin bronzes, aluminum bronzes, brass, pure copper and gray/ductile iron.
Cut & Machined Stock
Monmet supplies rounds, hollows and rectangles cut to size, with optional rough machining to reduce customer shop time.
