Grade Selection

WCB for general-purpose pressure components, WCC for higher strength, LCB for low-temperature service, and modified low-alloy grades for higher abrasion or impact requirements.

Heat Treatment

Normalize, normalize-and-temper, or quench-and-temper cycles are run to certify mechanical properties on each heat lot.

Inspection

Mechanical, hardness and non-destructive testing to the procedures and acceptance criteria specified on your drawing or purchase order.

Frequently Asked Questions

LCB is used for pressure components serving in low-temperature environments — it is qualified by impact testing at the low temperature stated on the specification, while WCB is only certified at room temperature.

Yes. WCB/WCC follow standard low-hydrogen welding procedures with appropriate preheat based on section thickness.
