Engineering Disciplines

Bore-and-step layout, fillet radius optimization, residual-stress control during quench and finish machining are coordinated on each shaft program.

Common Materials

4140 and 4340 for general industrial shafts, low-alloy steel grades for rotor-type shafts, and precipitation-hardening or duplex stainless steels for corrosive service — always to the grade named on your drawing.

Inspection

Inspection and testing are supplied to the standards and acceptance levels stated on your drawing or purchase order.
